From the IMF World Economic Outlook, the World Bank WDI, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics and national statistical agencies. See the Data Sources page for details.
Is the 2026 figure an actual number?
No. The latest year is based on IMF projections and may be revised when new editions are published.
Are the investment returns on the Invest tool real historical returns?
They are long-run historical averages used for illustration, not actual returns for the period you pick.
